Exploring the path until I fade away, the best way to kill time, you see
Love's a business, dreams take flight, but when I falter, I lose my might
I lament the days without the sun, thinking it’s a long, hard fight

Answer me, moonlight shining bright, with a thumbs up, it’s all right
What matters is how we live and die, until we fade into the night

Even killing time until I die, I close my eyes and wonder why
My imagination's running dry, searching everywhere, oh my
If it’s different, I drift away, I grasp it tight, but it slips away
That little bit more feels endless, and once again, the sun will sway

Wrapped in a sense of powerlessness, I throw my empty shell away
Open the window to the night sky, let it all just fade away
