Rain (short version)

Finally found a new morning, but time gets in the way
I’m not heading to the "next" thing
Just chasing after the "next"

The relentless memories keep ringing in my head
They don’t seem to want to let me go

Is it about time? My tired cheeks are feeling around
Conflicts spill out like a mess

Will the rain ever stop?
It’s been a long, cold
Why does the rain choose me?
Is it okay to be wrapped up in it?

The rain doesn’t know how to stop
It keeps pouring down today too
But under the umbrella I gently offered
I snuggle up to the warmth.
