Cabelos Cor-de-prata

My silver hair
are serenade kisses
that the moon sent to me.
My gray hair
are white dew drops
in an inkwell.
These white hairs of mine
that today are the color of
lonely garden benches,
have felt many fingers
and heard many secrets
that they told me.

If today, they are faded
it's because they were kissed
with much love and emotion
And the kisses were so pure
that my dark hair
is the color of cotton.
I sang so many serenades
that the moon, turned into silver,
sent a thousand kisses to me.
And the kisses were so pure
that my dark hair
turned white... like this!
