Camelot
Silvio Rodriguez
Camelot
By the edge of a lagoon
Three witches stir a cauldron
And whip up a thick world
One adds the Moon
Another lamb's blood
And the last the final kisses
From Camelot, signals fly
On dragons and horns
And there's a silence of beasts
While hells are announced
Hatred for the other is our fate
The blood of others is our vineyard
When they desecrate and kill
We'll be birds of prey
Two hunchbacks from the north
And a dwarf acting as a pimp
Sickening sadists
Recruiting tribes and courts
For managing shackles
And hearts of steel
And once again, like a tragedy
The smell of broken flesh lingers
From dungeons, from the Middle Ages
Where they silenced the outcast
And once again, against the urge
To kiss and hug people
Yielding to the last resort
Of an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth
