On Sunday I went to the orchard
I put on my wings, felt so much better
Because listening to a song of pioneers
Made me feel more filled with homeland and love

It was like going back to a place
Where I keep my roots and bright stars
It was like my girl was singing

I was the dad of a war pioneer
