Cycle
Life is pretty easy, I dare to say
When there’s love that makes you laugh
Life is tough, I need to correct
When there’s pain that makes you suffer
Life is a cycle, I’ve learned that well
The things that happen will repeat themselves
There’s love that never matures
It rots in the light, it can’t see
There’s eternal love that never blooms
I just can’t understand it
There’s love that’s really old, but ours has a lot
Left to explore
I’m a bit stubborn, like a wave in the sea
I refuse to leave and let the drop fall
If I feel like I’m rising and can’t come down
Maybe it’s because there’s no gravity on your lips
If I kiss your freckles and start to count
If I lose track, I’ll just start again
There’s love that never matures
It rots and can’t see the light
There’s eternal love that never blooms
I just can’t understand it
There’s love that’s really old, but ours has a lot
Left to explore
Life is pretty easy, I dare to say
When there’s love that makes you laugh
Life is tough, I need to correct
When there’s pain that makes you suffer
Life is a cycle, I’ve made my choice
