Emilia's Speech
Of all that exists in this life
I never tire of saying that what I like most is to talk
I talk even before the day breaks
When I wake up I say good morning
And I don't stop talking
And there's no place where I interrupt the chatter
Be it a burial or a wake, I talk anywhere
I talk more than a priest during mass
I talk more than a politician during inauguration
If I run, I talk, if I rest, I also talk
And if someone steps on my toe, I start talking
Talking is my favorite activity, I was even elected
The chatterbox of the place
I think that's why I like to argue
Because I get furious with the urge to curse
I rant, I point my finger right away
Some people even give up when I start talking
If I talk a lot, it's because of my nature
Because I only see beauty in this act of talking
If I go further, it's because I'm royalty
After all, I'm a Marquise, everyone has to listen to me
If I sleep, I talk, if I eat, I also talk
Even if I drink straight from the bottle, I don't stop talking
Because words and letters feed me
And they are to me what ants are to anteaters
If someone is tired of hearing me talk
They better get ready because I'm going to start again
