Bla Bla Bla

Blah Blah Blah
I like to chat anywhere,
I like to see you talk more than chew,
I just want to talk to you and no one else
and if you don't listen to me, I'll go look
for someone who understands me,
who at least understands me
that if they find me in the dark
they light me up like a light.
To someone who tells me they can handle
knowing that I just like to talk
why don't you listen to me, why don't you look at me,
don't you see that I'm talking to you, don't you see that I'm coughing,
don't you see how I feel, don't you see how I lie to you.
Don't you see that I sense where we're going.
Don't you see that I'm sensitive, it's indescribable
and no matter how hard I try, for you to understand some of this,
I don't control the reins of your understanding,
there's no knowledge enough for that.
I see the suffering of a bird and a dog,
you see me crying alone and you want me naked.
I see what happens without leaving my house,
I see what you see but in reverse.
Listen to me when I tell you,
when I tell you, when I lie to you,
when I feel, when I think of you,
when I have no more breath left.
And tell me, what do you think, what do you feel, without mistreatment, without hurting me
don't give me just two words, that I don't understand, that are not enough.
Give me a little more words, let your tongue be an athlete,
I listen to you and we talk about everything that comes up,
about your things, about mine, about why we don't work,
about how fed up we are, about the kid around the corner.
About the weather, injustice, what do you think of greed,
are you a believer or an activist, don't be so distant,
give me just one word that with it I make sweet
for you and for me, so you can be happy,
so you can see that we're even smiling
and unintentionally we're starting to understand each other.
