Hilo de Sol

Thread of Sun
Once again I find you on the street
You're lying down and you tell me, once again I'm tired
I feel handcuffed, I don't know what to do
Whether to ask you to leave or to run away
I think poor guy, how he ended up so alone
I think about his path, what will be his destiny
I think about life that always does what it wants
I wonder if one chooses or at least suggests
And once again I look around
I don't know if I'm better off or if everything is worse
I want to cheer up and tell myself nice things
I want to encourage myself and even talk to the little flowers
And I look at them and tell them what beautiful flowers
And I think they think 'oh poor crazy lady!'
And I turn back with shame looking the other way
And there I see the poor guy also so desolate
In the street it's cold, there's a thread of Sun
It's autumn, the trees reflect my pain
A leaf falls to the ground
And grazes my heel
I look at it, we are both alone
We are alone, both of us
And in the loneliness of the street I walk
I don't think about going back, what could happen to me
I prefer to move forward and reach somewhere
So that things happen and not make them wait
If I walk slowly I can even meditate where I'm going and where I'll end up
If I speed up, I can also crash
With what hurts me until I burst
In the street it's cold, there's a thread of Sun
It's autumn, the trees reflect my pain
A leaf falls to the ground
And grazes my heel
I look at it, we are both alone
We are alone, both of us
In the street it's cold, there's a thread of Sun
In the street it's cold, there's a thread of Sun
In the street it's cold, there's a thread of Sun
In the street it's cold, there's a thread of Sun
