Angel

In my garden, it had been a while since
anything grew and I hadn’t seen rain
because of my little faith.
But one good day, all that changed,
and a downpour came into my life,
and it watered all the flowers.

And because of her, the stars shine like never before,
and the wind carries her in its song.
For me, from now on, there won’t be any nights without a moon;
from now on, my heart has a name.

that Angel, another part of me.
