Moviola
Spinetta Jade
Moviola
Did anyone see this old man
All alone in the desert
Begging the cacti for change
With his tireless violin?
Did anyone see the village light
Of the kids writing in the sky?
It's an old lantern
On the endless tapestry.
Someone dreamed of the torches
That always fall from the sun
Letting their spots take flight
Through the fabulous petals.
Someone's got the puppeteer
With his crazy music cart
When he hears the guitars
He's a wild dolphin.
There's so much to see in the moviola
Or in the taxi of dreams
In the cinema of white sheets
At the hilarious fair.
