A Casa

I've been through that too, having my life destroyed
I understand your story, because it was just like mine
An abandoned house, it was me without joy
But then came a Certain Man, calling Himself a Carpenter

He asked to look at the house filled with defects
And I let Him in, to dwell in my heart
Upon entering the old house, He plastered all the walls
And what was only rust, ended up turning green

Hope returned, a new day dawned and it's forever
Today, the built house has a new foundation
The columns are of Ember, the doors are of Fire
It has a Spring Garden, because Jesus is living inside

Let Jesus enter your life and everything will change
He will fix what is broken, remake everything anew
If the enemy knocks on your door persistently
Asking: Can I live here?
Answer: Jesus lives here!

Suddenly someone arrives at the gate
Clapping, admiring the construction
And his smile reveals a desire
A desire that he has is not just to look

Boldly he asks
I liked the house; do you want to sell or rent it to me?
Soon came the answer: Keep your proposal!
It's no use insisting, you won't succeed

This house has no price, neither gold nor money will deceive me
Through many tears this house was bought
It's not for rent, not for sale, you can give up
Because the Owner of the Universe, the Builder Jesus is living here
