On the island of Patmos alone is John
Suffering, distressed, wounded
I imagine with great darkness
The servant John suffered

But suddenly a vision, our brother had there
And he was caught up, on the day of our Lord
And thus he heard the great voice, which said:

"Write my servant
what the Lamb says,
who was slain and came to life again."
John fell prostrate
But Jesus said: "Do not be afraid!
I have the keys of hell and death
And I will reveal the mysteries to you."
