The rockstar is dead, but I’m still alive
My mom brought me into this world, just a few things
I’m slowly catching up, slowly moving on
I want to be a kind person, I’ve grown up.
I’ve learned to forgive, though I won’t back down
I know I’m just like my dad, and I feel happy about it
I’m slowly accepting things, slowly taking it in
I want to be someone who can protect, I’ve grown up.
Time will solve it all, I think that’s how it goes
But I’m still breathing right, I’m guiding myself.
I thought this world was ending, I’ve had my farewells
I thought it was all over, I’ve faced my setbacks
But it’s not over yet, it hasn’t ended yet
When I could laugh it off, I’ve grown up.
The rockstar is dead, but I’m still alive
Even with worries today, if I’m anxious, tomorrow too
In the midst of it all, I keep growing, connections keep growing
If I could, I wouldn’t want to die, I’ve grown up.
Living alone today, but I can’t be by myself
Whatever I do, I think about it, my beloved ones
Wondering if they’ll be sad, can they still laugh?
I think it’s happiness, I’ve grown up.
Time will solve it all, I think that’s how it goes
But I’m still breathing right, I’m guiding myself.
Joy and fun
Even the past, like a changing encounter
We’ve grown up
We’ve grown up, but I’m still living.
