Lined up with smiles always, the same old story
On TV, the hero looks busy saving the future
There’s a comfort like no other here
But I can’t return to loving being alone anymore

Sharing this meaningless time
Saying, 'I’m happy' or 'I’m lonely'
We don’t say it since we’re just alike
On the distant daily adventures of life
Hoping for a ridiculous, overflowing
Memory-filled laughter to continue on

No plans for a world trip that won’t go anywhere, just talking
Looking back, we don’t know a single promise
Like a comfy deserted island
To the point where I feel like I don’t need anything else
No matter what season of goodbye
No need to say 'Hang in there' or 'Take care'
Just like scribbles in a yearbook
While staying vulnerable and clueless as always
Laughing while teasing each other

Setting aside the faraway future
