El Mulitero
Tabare Etcheverry
The Mule Driver
I have eighteen mules
To sell in the town
They are so cute and chubby
And here I go if I can breathe
Without breath...
My boy is frolicking
For him, this is fun
For me, just a job
When the occasion arises...
Go 'pumping' my little one
Beers in the distance
Meanwhile, I watch
That they don't see us from the ranch
Oh dear... there goes one!
Corral it quickly.. throw your hat
Cover the cave.. and if you win..
Grab the tail.. and stick your finger in!
The little legs of the boy..
Run less than his haste
And a tough mule escapes him
Tough one..
Poor thing, the mule
When it puts its hands together
It looks like it's begging
As if it were a Christian
But.. my little kids..
Are also begging
And the mule that stands up
Ends up in the bag!!
Oh dear, there goes one..
Corral it quickly.. throw your hat..
Cover the cave.. and if you win..
Grab the tail.. and stick your finger in
And stick your finger in.. and stick your finger in
Don't worry, it won't bite there..
Go wash your hands in the Martin stream!!
