Scar (スカー)

Scar
The high ceiling is unreasonably clear
Symptoms sprout in me without a plan
Laughing at us, the cowardly ones
Countless eyes peered
Just embracing
My repeatedly broken heart
Until the day it turns to ashes
All the sadness I've swallowed
Filled me with a tangible color
That's how I've been walking
Layer by layer, like breathing
The countless marks on these palms
That won't disappear are my
Proof, my mark
Even the fear we faced
Carved, and together we started walking again
The high ceiling is unreasonably clear
Emptiness seeps in like a falling black shadow
Guiding my hand towards resignation
To heal the painful wounds no matter what
Layering regrets over and over
Yet still
The scattered light is blinding
All the hope reflected in these eyes
Will crumble, turn black
Even if it changes completely
To drown out the whispers of twisted disappointment
Someone screamed deep in my heart
There's no meaning in the tomorrow given
If you just stop and sit waiting for the end
Regrets and disappointments are unnecessary
I ended up admiring
Your beauty in choosing and shaping tomorrow
Resisting the darkness
Mistakes made, regrets piled up, fear of tomorrow, carrying wounds
I can't hand over to anyone
It's my pain alone
All the sadness I've swallowed
Filled me with a tangible color
That's how I've been walking
Layer by layer, like breathing
The countless marks on these palms
That won't disappear are my
Proof, my mark
Even the fear we faced
Carved, and together we started walking again
