A Volta do Tordilho Negro

The Return of the Black Stallion
That black stallion
That I tamed a long time ago
At the cliffside ranch
One day I returned
I went to answer the call
Of the girl to whom I gave a flower
To make the arrival brighter
I rode the same black stallion
And arrived at three in the afternoon
The ranch adorned with flags
I saw from afar
A cowboy to open the gate
I rode in and crossed
The beautiful girl at the door
Told her father, I heard
The tamer is coming
The one to whom I gave the flower
And now I fell in love
I got off the black stallion
And shook the girl's hand
In a loving grip
I noticed she loved me
Without feeling anything for her
I asked for permission and entered
She was anxious for my arrival
And told me to sit
In a king's chair
Soon came the mate
And I tasted the good herb
She gave me another sign of love
Then I justified myself
I couldn't resist, I kissed her
And returned to the chair
I gave her the gourd with care
Squeezed her little finger
And confessed my love
I asked for a year's time
And married the beautiful girl
On the back of the black stallion
I took her to my house
At the cliffside ranch
I received two gifts
Two things a man desires
A good horse and a woman
I fulfilled my dream
