A Arca de Noé
Músicas Infantis
Noah's Ark
Seven in colors, suddenly
The rainbow unleashes
In the clear and happy water
Of the little river in the woods.
The sun, behind the transparent veil
Of the golden and silver rain
Shines brightly
In the sky, on the ground, in the waterfall.
And the door of the Ark opens
Slowly, frankness emerges
The joy and the white beards
Of the prudent patriarch.
Seeing from afar that mountain range
And the so green plains
Noah says: what good land
To plant my vines.
Now go, at the open door
Suddenly, hesitating
Slowly, long and uncertainly appears
An elephant's trunk.
And from a hole
From a window, appears
A monkey face
That peeks and disappears.
'The forests are all mine'
Roars proudly the lion
'I am also a child of God'
One protests and the tiger - 'no'
The Ark, disjointed
Seems like it will collapse
Among the jumps of the animals
All wanting to get out.
Finally, with great effort
Going in pairs in a line
Some angry, others scared
The animals are leaving.
The biggest ones come first
Holding their heads high
And the weak ones, humbly
Come behind, as in life.
Far away the rainbow fades
And since this story happened
When the night falls
The stars rise in glory
Filling the sky with whims
In the midst of the silent night
You can hear the animals talking
In the repopulated land.
