Alfonsina E La Bici

Têtes de Bois Têtes de Bois

Alfonsina And The Bike

Alfonsina, you got swollen tits!
(Alfonsina was all dolled up until the morning)
Alfonsina, you got full tires!
(Alfonsina, this girl, this story ain't right)
Alfonsina, you got full tires!
(Alfonsina, what they see in their heads, what they see in their veins)
Alfonsina, you got deflated tits!
(Alfonsina was all dolled up until the morning)

But one day, many years later
With a gray and cold sky
Instead of the bike, she tried to start her engine
Damn, she struggled to make it run, with the pedal lever
And stubborn July refused

(Alfonsina will arrive) No matter what!
(Alfonsina, Alfonsina Road!)
(Alfonsina will arrive) No matter what!
(Alfonsina, Alfonsina Road!)

Where Alfonsina used to be
There's a Wi-Fi zone
And with eyes searching for her among the stars
Those that in Milan can't see anymore
Among the satellite dishes on the balconies, as beautiful as dunes

To a star watching me from the kitchen
I named her Alfonsina
To a star watching me from the kitchen
I named her Alfonsina

(Alfonsina will arrive)
No matter what!
(Alfonsina will arrive)
No matter what!
(Alfonsina will arrive)
No matter what!
(Alfonsina will arrive)
No matter what!

Alfonsina, you got strong legs!
(Strong legs, strong legs, secure)
Alfonsina, you got tight shoulders!
(Tight shoulders, on those damn asses)
Alfonsina, tears shed!
(Alfonsina, Go Alfonsina Road)
Alfonsina, sweat like?
(Like lime)

So I went to see
Her old racing shop down on Varesina
Where she waited in the window
Coppi, Bartali, Magni, Martini talking about new tires
About escapes, sprints, descents, climbs, and alpine passes

To a star watching me from the kitchen
I named her Alfonsina
To a star watching me from the kitchen
I named her Alfonsina
To a star watching me from the kitchen
I named her Alfonsina
To a star watching me from the kitchen
I named her Alfonsina

Uh! Ah! Uh! Ah! Uh! Ah! Uh! Ah!
In the end, for the effort and below zero
That heart that had read every climb
Ends up out of turns
In the end, for the effort and below zero
That heart that had read every climb
Ends up out of turns
Alfonsina will arrive, no matter what

Come on, wait, wait, wait
Go go go go go, stop!
Come here
Andrea goes down, goes down! (No no no!)
Lift your shoulders and go like this
Pedal, Andrea! Pedal, Andrea! No no!
What do you want from me? Go away like this!

[Margherita Hack]
Hi Andrea!
I've always loved taking long bike rides
When I was young, I rode from Florence to Viareggio and back
And here I've walked a little less, but I've ridden a lot
Often to Col Monze in Udine, in Gorizia
And a beautiful ride was from Trieste to Garda and back I did, two years ago
Before returning, I stopped to eat at a trattoria
Then I took the road to Trieste
And so, it's nice to ride a bike, see, you see many things
And you can do much longer routes than on foot
And yet observe the landscape, see details
Smell the scents of the earth, the scents of the plants
Things that you can't appreciate in a car
Because the bike is perhaps the most ecological and fun means of transport

But do you think Mario can fix this gear?
Have you seen it, boy?
Have you seen many, have you fixed many
