Por Onde Flor
Thaís Madureira
Where the Flower Blooms
I’m gonna water my garden
So it can bloom
And ask the wind to bring the scent of the flower
If it loves me well
What harm could it do?
My love
Always loved me
Hours on foot, hours from there
I’m feeling the hummingbird
Connecting
With my nectar
And teaching me to be love
Where the flower
Blooms
And what was pain
Forget it
Water the love
So it can grow
And make nostalgia a sunflower
A rose a kiss
A rosemary the hope that one day jasmine
If the carnation ever fought with the rose
It must have been jealousy
Of the perfume she gives off here
I’m gonna dive into a sea of daisies
To discover that life
Is simpler than we think it is
I’m gonna walk hand in hand with courage
Embrace happiness
Conjugate the verb to live more
Where the flower
Blooms
And what was pain
Forget it
Water the love
So it can grow
