Deus de Neemias

There in Jerusalem, something happened
They knocked down the walls and mocked God
Misery ravaged, the gates were burned
And a great sadness followed there
However, God to Nehemiah, for in his heart
To raise the walls with the help of his brothers

Said this would be rebellion against the king
However, Nehemiah full of God's authority
Replied: The God of heaven will make us prosper

Sanballat and Tobiah rose up
Trying to hinder the great work
But Nehemiah was confident in the Lord
That he would win the battle against his enemies
The walls were raised
The enemy ashamed
And the people came out victorious in the name of the Lord!

The same God, of those days, is here in this place today, and he sends me to tell you this hour: The God of heaven will make us prosper!
Take heart now, for Jesus Christ is telling you: Listen to what I say to you now: I am sovereign and in this war I will win!

I am the one who does, I am the one who undoes
I am the one who closes, I am the one who opens
I am the Almighty, I am God
I am the one who can, I am the one who exalts
I am the living God, I am the one who brings down
I am the powerful God of heaven, I am the great I am!
