Foi Na Cruz
Thalles Roberto
It Was On The Cross
Oh, how blind I walked and wandered lost,
Far, far from my Savior,
But from glory He came down and shed His blood,
To save such a poor sinner.
It was on the cross, it was on the cross,
Where one day I saw,
My sins punished in Jesus,
It was there, by faith, that my eyes opened,
And now I rejoice in His light.
I heard of this unmatched grace
That brought our Jesus from heaven,
But I made myself deaf, I did not want to convert,
To the Lord who died for me on the cross.
But one day I felt my sins and saw,
The punishment of the law upon me,
But quickly I fled, in Jesus I hid,
And found safe refuge in Him.
I live so, so secure in His light,
I live so, so secure in His light, God,
I live so, so secure in His light, Love,
Oh, what great pleasure flooded my being,
Knowing this great Love,
That led my Jesus to suffer on the Cross,
To save such a poor sinner.
It was on the cross, it was on the cross,
Where one day I saw,
My sins punished in Jesus,
It was there, by faith, that my eyes opened,
And now I rejoice in His light.
It was on the cross, it was on the cross,
Where one day I saw,
My sins punished in Jesus,
It was there, by faith, that my eyes opened,
And now I rejoice in His light,
And now I rejoice in His light,
And now I rejoice in His light.
