Rain on the Flowers, A Song for You

When did the days of sleeping at dawn start?
The rhythm mixes with the deep sound of rain outside the window.
Wounds, mistakes, death, dreams, and now too.

I turned this ugly life into a song, you see.
The days that echoed over five thousand copies,
Even the words I wrote down, I tossed them away.

But it’s different; this scenery (world) is like
A world without color.

Look, rain on the flowers,
And
A song for you.
Please, until my life ends like this,
No matter how many times I dig into the wounds of the past that won’t fade,
I felt like something would change.

It sounds grand to think music can save the world,
But what can dreams, love, or God really save?
Whenever we sing together, there’s a dance in that place.
That’s right; just that alone saved me.

Remaining time to live, or the expiration date,
Tomorrow’s prevention, a blank letter, I don’t care about that.
I scribble in my notebook; frost is always like that.
I turned it into a song without knowing what’s right.

On a moonlit night, let’s play the words I strummed,
And dance to the heartbeat of my empty heart.
People live like that and then die,
And that’s how they find fulfillment.

Look, rain on the flowers,
And
A song for you.
Please, until my life ends like this,
No matter how many times I try to live, I’ll still follow the same path,
I’ll probably keep dreaming of a tomorrow I haven’t seen yet.

If deceiving myself means becoming an adult, that’s fine; I’m okay being a kid.
But sometimes, is it okay to stop and cry a little?

Look, rain on the flowers,
And
A song for you.
Please, until my life ends like this,
No matter how many times I dig into the wounds of the past that won’t fade,
I felt like something would change.

Tonight, let love fill your heart with dawn.
That’s how people live on.
The words we spun and the melodies we play,
They’re never enough to convey everything.

It sounds ridiculous to think music can save the world,
Who was dreaming that dream in Germany?
We don’t know fate, tomorrow, or the end.
I’ll sing and play my life until it breaks even more.

Rain on the flowers, a song for you,
Let’s color our faded dreams.
