A Casa

I made a cozy and very cool house
The bricks of my house are Bahian rapadura
The plumbing of the house I made from caiana cane
Installation of cambuquira and the faucets made of banana
I gathered honeycombs, made the doors and shutters

The rafters and joists I made all with clay
The nails I made from cloves and the slats from macaroni
In the place where concrete goes, I put tutu de feijão
I also made the water tank entirely from melon
Covered my whole house with lettuce and arugula

The plaster of my house I made all with guava paste
Baseboards made of cookies and the floorboards made of coconut candy
The tiles of the house are pieces of quince jelly
I laid them with whipped cream, grouted with banana paste
Put a pig's snout where the outlet goes

I plastered the whole house with avocado cream
Also made a cement base with chocolate
The light I made from plum and the globe from tomato
I prepared a good paint, put effort into the finishing
My house was painted with currant and iced tea

Our cost of living worsens day by day
If hunger tightens me, there's the house that supports me
I invite the children and also my lady
We pass the house through the belly in a few hours
The house stays inside and we stay outside
