La Torre De Babel
Tierra Santa
The Tower of Babel
They say that in Babylon
The legend arose
They tell that under the sky
A tower rose
And a just God
Descended to earth
And destroyed it
When they built it
Ambition blinded them
To reach the top
And challenge their God
And the punishment from heaven
Confused the language
They spoke
And the tower touched the clouds
As a symbol of their ambition
But a God took revenge
And broke its arm
The Tower of Babel
Only ruins remained
Death and desolation
A high price they paid
For playing God
And in the name of the father
Looking up to the sky
They ask for forgiveness
Dark clouds loom
Over humanity
High above the warning
Of a fatal destiny
And on the earth
Blood runs through the stones
Of vanity
And the tower touched the clouds
As a symbol of their ambition
But a God took revenge
And broke its arm
The Tower of Babel
