He arrived with Uncle Ben's with a flag
Here is rice 'It never sticks'
We were left with nothing but skin and bones
So distribution from Dakar to Lomé
It was American grain rice
Bags everywhere but not a single book
Men said since it's in the packages
That we find food, we'll stay in bed
He gave us the recipe for happiness
He even gave us the time

He was as handsome as a pack of cigarettes
With in his sack the latest gameboy
And toys of all kinds
Toys worth a fortune
And a rocket to go to the moon

The cowboy took back his gameboy
He told the sheep, stop dancing

We may say, but when we're naked
Even to the devil, we wish a warm welcome.
He visited all inhabited places
And since then, in every corner of the planet
We're all sitting down to do the same dictation
