I wanted to change
And that meant leaving behind
My ground, my comfort, what’s right, my peace
I went searching for more

I won’t go back
Even though I’m tempted to look behind
There are nights I think it won’t work out anymore
But being is better than remembering

And I thought
That what I built some time ago
Only came to be
After I went out to find it
