In my room I found a couple of photos
What I had saved from when I was a child
Of days I took for granted, maybe
But today I remember with affection
Between laughter, fights, I didn't realize
That one day that would change

There is so much advice that I just ignored
What life would teach me
Who'd say
The lack that they would make me

I want to believe again in fairies, in heroes and in giant dreams
That there will never be anything more important
What to be with family on a Sunday afternoon
I want to believe again
That people are good, that nobody lies to you
That you are already old when you are 20
There is no pain that an ice cream doesn't heal
If I could choose my superpower
It would be believing again

To that boy in the photo I have a couple of things I want to say
Forgive me if I failed you
And I couldn't become what you wanted
Get more out of your friends
That some will be gone by the time you grow up
Little by little you are going to change those days of games
For party nights
And the more I grow, the more I would like you to come back
