La princesa y el juglar
Tino Casal
The Princess and the Minstrel
Let me tell you a story
that I've seen in my dreams,
it's a story that speaks
of just two, that's all.
There was a minstrel who sang and laughed
wanting to cry,
so very alone and tired
from wandering so much.
Until one autumn day
he arrived in that village,
someone shouted from afar:
The minstrel is coming.
All the people ran to his side
wanting to talk to him,
it was then he knew that the king
was calling for him.
The princess in this story
is feeling so sad,
in the palace, there's no one
who can sing to her.
And so the minstrel stayed by her side
for all eternity,
and from that day on
he stopped wandering.
He stopped wandering,
he stopped wandering,
he stopped wandering...
He stopped wandering.
