What happened to me?
With a rounder face but never pale
Less sure but
Stronger sometimes for the great humility
That I used to sleep in school desks
I never held back the lump in my throat
Sometimes I was tired of fighting
But I always had time to think
And now I don’t
Now
I look at you absent and say:
"You don’t enter, you don’t get inside me anymore
Not now, you don’t hurt me anymore!"
I grit my teeth at all costs
And just to keep from revealing myself, I pull
Back a bit and a bit more
Moon, listen to me
If from that corner
Of altitude
You know more than I do
Now hold me tight
I don’t want to lose myself
But now I can’t find
The child within me

What happened to you too?
What’s up, are you tired of telling me
That I’m not here anymore?
You who know with sincere humility
The full version of me
Who jealously guards the "whys"
Try to give me back that absurd irony
The crazy urge to run away
But come back home
But now I look at you absent
And say:
"You don’t enter!
You don’t get inside me anymore!"
And you don’t even rebel
You don’t argue and you resign

Moon, listen to me
If from that corner
Of altitude
You know more than I do

Cross the bridges between mind and heart
The extreme threshold of pain
Pride and its vast sea
To make it clear that I think about it
That I suffer from intense love
That I still play with the wind
But I can’t find the child within
That I still laugh without a sense
And I navigate distracted and attentive
Naive but with my head
All or nothing... or always or enough!
And that I’m here to find myself
And I ask for your help
