White Breath
In this freezing season,
Where do you say love is?
I don’t really care about that,
Let’s blame it on winter and warm each other up.
Forgot to turn off the TV, even loneliness slipped my mind,
My throat’s hurting from the time I spent thinking.
At midnight, the vision of tomorrow is unlocked,
When it gets to the important part, it’s all pixelated.
Let my bittersweet feelings out, I’m so tired of holding them in.
In this freezing season,
Where do you say love is?
I don’t really care about that,
Let’s blame it on winter and warm each other up.
Even if I pretend to be free, I know I’m still caught up in it,
Watch your step on the moving sidewalk.
Did I rent enough like Tarantino?
Even though I don’t have memories of being hit.
Give me the strength to ignore formalities in this day and age.
In the snow, we’re dreaming together,
If we do that, we can share our true feelings
Without needing to dig deeper.
In such a cold time, what can I do, where can I go?
I can’t say it’s all good, I can’t say that.
We lick our loneliness together, but,
On a night when my selfishness feels like it’s fading,
Love calls out to someone.
Especially since I’m walking with nothing,
Let me warm you up.
