Speak Suit
Sure brother was invited to preach in a church
But when he arrived there was a dispute right away
The pastor told him: You don't preach here
Nor can you climb this pulpit
The brother said to the pastor: What's going on?
What is my sin, you have to say!
The pastor told him: It's not about sin
You are a holy man of Job's quality
The only reason you don't preach
Is simply because, you are without a suit
After some conversations, they reached an agreement
They arranged for the brother to preach the following week
And the brother was angry, a little upset
But through advice, he was convinced
The brother was poor and unemployed
He only had one outfit and a worn-out shoe
He went to another brother's house, borrowed a suit
Put on a tie and looked all neat
Spent the day praying, filled with power
But when it came to preaching, he started to say
Speak suit! Suit says nothing
Suit doesn't fast, suit doesn't read the Bible
Nor prays in the early morning
I'm the one who goes out on the street, handing out literature
Preaching from house to house, teaching the scripture
Never miss a single day, now speak suit!
