Monochrome Rainbow

Monochrome Rainbow
In this dull, chaotic world that keeps repeating,
I cover my ears from the noise.
Why are we hurting each other?
Can you hear my heartbeat?
Baby, I trust you, my friend.
In the corner of my heart, weighed down by despair,
Amidst the shadows of conflicting truths,
I ache in my chest,
Yet I can still dream of tomorrow.
Thinking of the rainbow I found after the rain,
I close my eyes, fly with me, no matter how long the dream,
With you, it won’t fade away.
We can create an everlasting rainbow,
Even the moonlight from that day we met,
Reflects it back, again and again.
In this silent world echoing with despair,
A sad clown laughs with a tear-streaked face.
What should I wish for on a fallen star?
I don’t care for any of this nonsense.
In my head, I hold my breath,
As I try to escape, but I’m held down.
Who taught me there’s a right way to live?
That dream looked like an endless glory,
While I trembled with fading certainty,
Searching for something I can grasp,
Even peace has come to me,
Not out of giving up,
But to surpass my dreams.
To the promised place,
I’ll take you with me.
I'll take you to my world,
I'll show you my sweet eternal dreams.
Thinking of the rainbow I found after the rain,
I dream, fly with me,
With you, we can light up any dark sky,
Beyond the monochrome rainbow,
Reflecting an unending view, the world in your eyes,
Again and again, it shines back.
