Se Apaga El Sol
Tommy Torres
The Sun Goes Out
I forgot to go shopping,
there's nothing left, not even for a coffee.
The fridge is just for show
and the TV can't even be seen.
And to top it off, when I look for my mail
the internet won't connect.
What would happen if I forgot inspiration in a hotel?
And to pay the mortgage, I only have this song.
Surely I would be left on the street without knowing where to go.
What does it matter, if today my bed is cardboard,
I'll be thinking of you...
If the sun ever goes out,
and the heating doesn't work,
I only ask God
that you're in my room.
If another war were to be invented to see who's stronger,
I would escape to the end of the world to avoid having to kill.
And if they find me and put me behind bars and I have nowhere to go.
What does it matter, if today my bed is metal,
I'll keep thinking of you.
If the world were to start over,
if you were my Eve and I your Adam,
I would surely make sure
that you sinned again.
The sun goes out...
