Corazón de Mudanza

Moving Heart
This house knows too much
Its walls have heard so much
That cracks have appeared
In both our hearts
And the closets have lost their shine
And the lights in the living room have already gone out.
This our house has grown tired
Of fights, screams, and slamming doors
Of hiding behind its curtains
So much disappointment
Caused by the passing of the years
And so much love has begun
To hurt us.
Cardboard boxes piled up at the entrance
"Whose is this?"
"If you don't mind, I'll keep it"
"I sense a forced naturalness in your speech"
I can laugh
And cry alone.
Moving heart.
I have a moving heart.
Moving heart.
This new house is smaller
I will get used to living in it
At night, I will be attentive to the door
As always, waiting for you to return
And with your absence, I will sleep when dawn breaks.
Cardboard boxes piled up at the entrance
"Whose is this?"
"If you don't mind, I'll keep it"
"I sense a forced naturalness in your speech"
I can laugh
And cry alone.
Moving heart.
I have a moving heart.
Moving heart.
Cardboard boxes...
