Acquarello (Italiano)
Toquinho
Watercolor (Italian)
On a sheet of paper you see the sun is yellow
But if it rains two pen marks give you an umbrella
The trees are nothing but turned wine flasks
If you put two guys under there, they'll be drunk
The grass is always green and if you see a distant point
You can't escape, it's either the good god or a seagull and it goes
Towards the sea to fly
And the sea is all blue
And a ship sailing
Has a sail and nothing more
But underwater the fish know where to go
Where they want, not where you want
And the sky is watching
And the sky is always blue
There's a plane up there high
And the plane comes down
There are those on the ground waving goodbye with their hand
Slowly leaving a bar
Who knows where it goes
On a sheet of paper you see those traveling on a train
They are three good friends eating and talking softly
From one America to the other, it's a joke, it takes a second
Just make a nice circle and there you have the whole world
A boy walks walks, reaches a wall
Closes his eyes for a moment and sees the future in front already
And the future is a spaceship
That has no time or mercy
It goes to Mars, goes where it wants
Nothing, you know, will stop it
If it comes towards us, it makes no noise
Doesn't ask for love and doesn't give any
We keep playing
Working in the city
We who are a little afraid
But the fear will pass
We are all dancing, we are at the best
In a watercolor that will fade
On a sheet of paper you see the sun is yellow but will fade
And if it rains two pen marks give you an umbrella that will fade
Just make a nice circle and there you have a whole world that will fade
