ABC
When we grow up a little
It's crazy what they do to us:
There's a time to get up, a time to go to bed,
To visit relatives.
When we learn to speak, we start to study,
It never ends.
And only those who learn the ABC
Will know how to read, will know how to write.
And besides the alphabet, a big dictionary
We will all need:
With A I write love, with B colored ball,
With C I have body, face, and heart.
With D at my disposal I write dice and pain,
With E I feel emotion!
With F I speak flower, with G I shout goal
And with H of having I can harmonize.
With I I wish to go, with J I'll be back soon, with L I have moonlight.
With M I write hand, mommy, basil,
With N I say no and the verb to be born.
With O I can look, with P pamper,
With Q I want to want.
With R I make laugh, with S sapodilla,
With T anteater, with U Urubupungá.
With V I swear I saw, with X I pee,
In the end the Z of zebra.
