The little chickens say
Cheep cheep cheep
When they are hungry
When they are cold

The hen looks for
The corn and the wheat
She gives them food
And lends them shelter

Under her two wings
All snuggled up
The little chickens sleep
Until the next day

When they wake up
They say mommy
I'm very hungry
Give me little worms
