Escravo Resgatado

When I walked in the enslaved world
My guide was the prince of sin
But a man one day bought me
And paid a high price and today I am free

Today I am no longer enslaved
A man named Jesus has set me free
Freedom Jesus has proclaimed
And new life has given
I am happy with Jesus by my side

I was a slave and always tired
In anguish in sadness subjugated
I had no freedom, Christ gave
On the cross He died for me and gave me new life
