Jesus arrived at Jacob's well
He was tired and arrived there to rest
A woman also arrived there
With her jar she went to fetch water
Jesus asked her for water to drink
And the woman hesitated and did not give it to him
Because she was a Samaritan and Jesus was a Jew
But the water that Jesus wanted, he drank
If you knew the gift of God
You would ask and I would give you to drink
The very supernatural water that springs for eternal life
This is the water that Jesus has to give us
Jesus is more than Jacob's well
He is the source with plenty of water, just take it
All who have sinned just come
This water has the power to cleanse you
The water that Jesus gives is gentle
Advisable that Jesus commanded to drink
Whoever drinks this water has eternal life
Lives with Christ here and beyond
