I will not stop worshiping God

Even beaten, all bloodied
They started to sing
With their feet in chains
But the soul is free to worship God

And almost midnight an earthquake happened
So that the prison foundations trembled

It was the Lord who heard me sing in prison
My praise moved God's heart
My worship He received
For it invaded the throne room of God

If the chains of my life resist
I do as Paul and Silas in affliction
I pray and sing praises of worship
And the chains fall to the ground

Paul and Silas were beaten
And thrown into that prison
With their bodies all bloodied
And yet they began to pray
And sing hymns to the Lord
And the Bible says that around midnight
A great earthquake occurred

That shook the foundations of that prison
The chains fell
The doors opened and everyone was free
By the power of God
And it is by the power of that same worship
In the authority of the name of Jesus
That we declare over your life my brother

It will fall, every chain of sickness
It will fall, sin and evil
It will fall, every closed door here
In the name of Jesus it will not resist
