A Fisherman
I was already worn out and tired
Of working in vain
My eyes were burning
And I just wanted to go home
I offered my boat to a man
Who was preaching to the crowd
He invited me to fish
Against my will, I went
What happened was way more than a miracle
That changed that day
That changed my life
I saw the image of the invisible God
Who looks at you hiding a smile
Because He’s ready to give you a gift
More than a net full of fish
He didn’t want to teach me to fish
But actually teach me to live
Christ looks at you with the same eyes
That transformed a fisherman
It’s when I think there’s no way out
That He shows up smiling and says to me:
"Let’s do it my way now,
Because that’s the path to happiness"
It’s in the moments I think I’m weak
That I’m actually stronger
Because in those hours my God comes and acts
And leaves His mark inside of me
What happened was way more than a miracle

That changed my life
