A Direção

The Direction
They entered the boat
They set the nets
And over the waters
They keep sailing
The sea is calm, the wind is quiet
And soon Peter cast the net into the sea
But there were no fish
And several times
They tried, unsuccessfully, to catch them
The night passed
At daybreak
And there comes Peter
Sad, with empty nets
And as the fishermen returned to the shore
They began to wash their nets
But soon Jesus arrived and ordered
Them to fish again
Casting the nets to the other side
Peter replied saying
Master, we worked all night and caught nothing
But, according to Your word, I will cast the nets into the sea
And it happened that, on that day, they caught so many fish
That they almost sank
Do you know why?
The problem is not in the net
The problem is not in the sea
The problem is not in the fish
Nor in the day you chose to fish
The problem is not in the hour
Nor is it in the place
The problem was the direction
That you decided to cast
So go back there
And this time obey me
Prepare the boat again
Cast the net on the other side
And you will see the providence
You may be experienced and have training
You may have the best boat
But there are only fish in the net
Under my direction
The net works, but the direction is mine
The boat is yours, but the direction is mine
The rudder is yours, but the direction is mine
Experience, but the direction is mine
You may be experienced and have training
You may have the best boat
But there are only fish in the net
Under my direction
Under my direction
There is miracle, there is answer, providence
There is victory, there is offspring, there is sustenance
There will be no lack of food, under my direction
And in my direction
There will be no lack of joy
The help you need
Whether night or day
Obey and trust
Your net will not return empty
