The Penguin in Love
Look, look, look
the handsome penguin in love
with a stiff collar
and a starched chest.
He strolls under the pack
with a very chic air
delicately swaying his tailcoat.
Under the moonlight
he goes to sing a serenade
where the loving penguin sleeps:
"Oh, beautiful daughter of love,
I am a slave to your charms,
I am all yours if you want me".
But the penguin's father
comes out with a broom in hand:
"Leave my daughter alone,
get out of here, you scoundrel".
Quietly, quietly, quietly
the handsome penguin in love
with a pierced heart
walks away in despair.
Then, in the night, a click is heard.
Above the cracked pack,
the handsome penguin in tailcoat has shot himself.
