Parada Dura
Trio Parada Dura
Tough Stop
Hello, folks, make way, I'm arriving
I'm always traveling and have no fixed destination
I was born in the great state of Minas
And there's nothing that dominates the heart of this miner
I've traveled from north to south of my Brazil
In the places I've been, I've caused a commotion
I'm a guitar player, I live my life singing
If someone wants to fight, they can come because I'm tough
One of these days I arrived at a big party
I jumped into the dance right away, with bad intentions
While I danced, I pushed everyone around
Just to see if I could find a tough guy around
I looked back, saw two guys well-armed
Coming towards me, wanting to grab me
I crouched, quickly tripped them
Threw them in the dust and kept on dancing
And that's how I do things in the place
Wherever I go, I want to see someone pass by
My enemies shouldn't come in my way
Because there are thorns in it and someone might get pricked
I'm a miner, my name is Tough Stop
I like dark nights, I'm worse than Lampião
I've killed five and thrown them off the cliff
On a holy day, Good Friday
