Sueños Rotos

Broken Dreams
I prefer the damn villain, the crude
I can't stand to see the good guy win
With his perfect smile and picture-perfect life
I’m with those who never made it
'Cause their lives are shattered
Like the dreams I once dreamed
It annoys me when they say what you should think
I’m with those who barely think
Who aren’t afraid to lose 'cause they know how it is
Face to face in the misery
'Cause their lives are shattered
Like so many of my dreams
And they don’t seek justice, law, or morals
Or religion that imposes rules
'Cause their lives are shattered
Like the dreams I once dreamed
The coward, the sick, the outcast
The one who hates what he hates without shame
The one who stutters, the quiet one, the one who sits in the back
The one who can’t take it anymore
'Cause their lives are shattered
Like so many of my dreams
And they don’t seek justice, law, or morals
Or religion that imposes rules........
