Rei da Floresta

I am the king of the forest
I know everything around here
I walk everywhere, running and hunting
There are so many animals that I've seen

I've seen an elephant
Very big, very big
Drinking water through its nose
And when it sprays the water out
It looks like a fountain
Everyone

I've seen a brown monkey
Jumping from branch to branch
Eating a banana
Scratching its head
And looking for a shortcut

To escape from the giraffe
That wanted to grab its snack
Her mouth reaches other animals' food
With that giant neck

And when I looked up, coming down
I saw a flying macaw
All colorful, so beautiful
And I think she was talking

And when I looked down
I saw the turtle, that doesn't fly
She walks very slowly
And her shell is her little house

And when I looked at the savannah
I saw the zebra, that doesn't have a shell
She runs galloping
And running is her danger

And when I looked at the forest
I saw an ostrich with speed
All strong feet, so beautiful
To escape from predators

And when I looked at the lake
I saw the hippopotamus, that doesn't have speed
She swims in the water
And her big tooth looks like a saber-toothed tiger
