El Pueblo
Ultraligera
The Town
The breeze has hit my face
And I remembered the house in the town
They’re probably watching TV
And the fireplace in the center is lit
If only I had time to go there
I’ve got a foggy head
I’ve got my coat and guitar on my back
Thinking that when it’s over
The soundcheck, I’ll head back home
But after the show, we gotta go out
And I don’t know if I chose this life or if it chose me
When I hide my head in someone else's neck
And close my eyes against the cold winter
I want you to forget everything I say at night
With words and time, I always end up wasting it
I’m wearing a crooked jacket
A whiskey neat for the singer
In return, I’ll play whatever you ask
I’m hoping for a tip for my wear and tear
What’s the plan for later?
The breeze has hit my face
And I remembered the house in the town
They’re probably watching TV
And the fireplace in the center is lit
I never have time to go there
And I don’t know if I chose this life or if it chose me
When I hide my head in someone else's neck
And close my eyes against the cold winter
I want you to forget everything I say at night
With words and time, I always end up wasting it
When I hide my head in someone else's neck
And close my eyes against the cold winter
Forget everything that
Forget everything that
I want you to forget everything I say at night
With words and time
With words and time
With words and time, I always end up wasting it.
