Xangô Meu Orixá
Umbanda
Xangô My Orixá
Xangô, my father in Umbanda
Comes from Aruanda, he is my Orixá
On top of a quarry
He delivers justice to help his children
Xangô in his village, there is no malice
Only love can reign
You taught me to do charity
And to exalt Umbanda on earth
My father with his axe
He doesn't attack, only to guard me
And in his book he writes my destiny
My father Xangô illuminates my path
He is Xangô, kaô, kaô!
Winner of demands, he is my protector
